One week later, no cancellation email, no refund. Emailed and left voicemail but no response... online portal shows cancelled but shows no date of cancellation or refund amount.
We hope to return to this enchanting establishment soon.
If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival you'll lose 50% of your money, but when you call before the deadline to cancel... no response.
Called to cancel reservation... rude over the phone... asking why and then saying they will cancel and email me my cancellation.

Lovely place, nice breakfasts, hot tub, only thing was that when leaving we were asked to leave $60. housekeeping tip. Thought that was inappropriate.
This place is amazing and I will return to stay there again. Once you are at the Inn, you can walk to many of the historical sights, restaurants and shopping. Each room had its own uniqueness and full bathroom and the beds were extremely comfortable. Lynn and Leslie treated us like family and cooked the best breakfasts each morning. They also told us where to spend our time after asking us want type of day we wanted. This is a hidden gem.
My wife and I have stayed here multiple times. We found this place many years ago and fell completely in love with it! It is situated just off the Portsmouth harbor on the Kittery side. A short walk across the pedestrian friendly bridge drops you right into downtown Portsmouth. the inn has a great hot tub and is connected to a spa. The complementary breakfast is gourmet, and there is port and sherry in the gorgeously decorated sitting room.
Looks like a great place but unfortunately they do not seem to want the business. I called to book a weekend stay with spa treatment for my boyfriend's birthday. After several calls and messages, I finally got a human being on the line. She said she would return my call to book after speaking with the spa. Seven days later, nothing. Disappointed I wasted my time considering this place. The lack of interest on their part is unbelievable. I will take my business elsewhere.
Be 100% certain before you book... cancellation is a nightmare!
