Killer bakery. Stand in line and enjoy the smells. Another worth the trip.
I knew we found a great breakfast stop when cars were waiting to turn into the parking area. We waited too -- definitely a great decision! Fantastic breakfast granola, breakfast muffins, artisan breads and baked goodies. We ate in the quaint restaurant, then took bread they sliced for us to eat on our road trip. Very friendly staff, too!
Everything I have eaten from Beach Pea is of fantastic quality. Every time I come to the region I try and stop in. The salted caramel cheesecake is amazing, the only downside is that it is a seasonal offering, but if your in the area in December, stop by on Friday and get one, because it goes quick!
I found this place through a friend. A little background would be helpful in understanding my review. I am not a cake eater. I normally find cakes dry and overly sweet. I had the opportunity to taste a cake from the beach pea Baking Company and I was astounded. It is the best cake I've ever eaten in my life. The place itself is not large but there's ample places to sit and eat you can have lunch there also. You should definitely stop by and buy a cake.

Everything I've ever tried has been excellent! From their sandwiches to their Bakery items everything is just mouth-watering! My favorite of all favorites is the fougasse I believe I could eat an entire loaf all by myself. There is a wait for this delicious food but it's well worth it. I highly recommend calling ahead and placing an order for your favorite bread in the morning if you're planning to pick it up after work for dinner.
